Personally, I don't think the bocote tonewood gets enough time in the limelight. Bocote is part of the ziricote family, and produces a well-rounded and highly versatile tone. Sound aside, it looks absolutely gorgeous -- like ribbons of melting chocolate. I can see the similarity to ziricote. Honestly, I wish more ukes made of bocote. The matte finish on this guy, paired with the cream binding, is all class. What more can be said? The Cordoba 15CB Bocote Concert should be on your wishlist.
